"bulkier paragraphs can lead to more solid arguements without the need for skipping forward if a point has yet to be backed up enough" Yeah, I think this will always be the case with people who actually read reviews. Those who skim over reviews are a totally different case.
I was wondering when you would give us your opinion great Sputnik Irishman. I actually did try & stay away from the Ash comparison for the most part (hence why they are not #1 on the Reco by reviewer section).
As for you're comparison with Fightstar, it sort of makes me shake my head. Sorry Dave, but if Fightstar are pop-punk - let alone sanitized pop-punk - then I'm African. General Fiasco are Indie-Rock with glimpses of Alt-Rock, albeit very accessible versions of both. Fightstar are post-hardcore with grungy overtones. Nothing alike.
And yeah, good luck to these guys, but as I say in the review, they've got their foot in the door now... They need to improve & develop their own sound next time around.

Some people don't read reviews? Ughhh.

Nah. At worst, it's average & unoriginal. It's not bad.

I just noticed the album cover. I don't get it. Album was released around Easter I guess.

"they're more like the Irish version of Busted or Fighstar, e.g. sanitised pop-punk with an accent."
Someone has obviously never listened to fightstar.

Yeah, I'm still not certain why Dave said that. My guess is that he meant Busted... And even then, the comparison is a little strange.

Busted or Busted? Pretty sure he meant Fightstar.
Not that I know whether it is a good comparison or not...

Now I'm confused. Either way, it's a bad comparison imo.
