'I feel The Oncoming Storm is better than this'

Agreed. This is a good album, but I think TOS is one of the definitive metalcore releases.

TOS is definitely a more definitive release, but I feel this one is just an improvement on that formula. Not as innovative, but more consistent. Or something.

I'd say all of their albums have been very consistent. Their are only a handfull of tracks that don't stand out for one reason or another

"Great review, it rivals Thor's for the best review of this album on the site that I've read."

who listens to "what they started listening to" anymore? I mean, i can't remember when i blared slayer's south of heaven in the past 10 years, even though i remember walking to middle school rocking it out on cassette tape.

really? i put on korn's s/t since i was reading up on it and there was so much acclaim and our bassist was like "yeah dude ball tonuge is awesome!" and i remember other songs being pretty cool, but i mean i was listening to korn in 7th grade and i put it on my ipod and had it in the car the other day, and it was just terrible. terrible!

im not huge on metalcore, but with a good crowd and if you like them, it will be good.

i suppose this brand of metalcore does get a bit stale kinda quick.
