Opeth has sort of been an acquired taste for me. At first I wasn't really a fan, but after jamming them more, especially their first 3 albums, I've come to value them more as musicians.

I guess its a matter of taste, Human and ITP are closer to death metal than Symbolic and this which is essentially progressive metal with some death metal influences
