Sweet dude. This was the very definition of a grower for me. Took about 15 listens before I began to fully appreciate it.
Soon you'll realise that this album has some of the best song writing and lyricism ever :D

A less sporadic tull for sure. Still kicks ass, It'll take me a few more spins to really appreciate this & songs from the wood

Yeah this one needs several listens. At first it was a 3 for me but now I enjoy it much more. On the other hand, Songs from the Wood was quite easy for me to get into.

This album is one of the biggest growers in Tull's discography. It takes a few listens to fully appreciate the genius of Anderson's song writing on here.
That 3.5 hurts, manosg. This is easily one of Tull's best albums imo.

^It's not an easy album but it gets better with each listen, no question about that. I'm sure it will go up next time I revisit the album so I think you'll be content in due time ;)

So fun!!

Never think of this album as "fun" to be honest, although some of the songs undoubtedly are. It's more like a life changing experience.

One of the greatest drummers ever.
The line-up they had from Thick as a Brick up until Stormwatch (the only member that changed in that time was the bass player) is easily one of the best line-ups in music ever, especially when you include David Palmer (he contributed to the band throughout that period even though he only became a full time member from Songs From the Wood).
