There are lots of twos and threes for every album. of course lots of them are going to post in a negative review lol.

Was going to pull up numbers for Jane Doe, and then I realized that that wouldn't prove my point at
all, as no one can give JD below a 2.

However, You Fail Me also has a 3.9 cumulative. Yet it has waaaaay less votes at 3 and under
(comparatively speaking, of course.)

That was just the first example I pulled up.

You're probably right in the end, I'm merely stating that it seems this way.

Edit: Also, I would assume a negative review would draw more people who scored the album high, since
they'd probably want to defend the album or insult the reviewer.

Lol. Chill out dude, I'm not claiming that this album is extraordinarily polarized, just that it seems that way. You're time isn't that valuable anyways.

You Fail Me is a bad comparison both time-wise and hype-wise compared to this, though,.

I've thought about trying another AC album but I realized that there are a lot of essential albums that I'm missing out on.

Yeah, I'm going to give another one of their albums a shot because I hear from friends that I might like some of their other stuff.

They do that from time to time. Still, I like to give most bands two albums.

It's not "in decline," it's being morphed. This is definitely a matter of what we pertain as "quality" but for a guy that seems to think music ended at 2004 I don't know why you continue to have an opinion on the matter.

I would have to disagree, but it's very possible that it's simply because I have only gotten into music (or to a lesser
extent, film) recently... nonetheless, I'm confident the music that's being made right now is as good as ever, as
musicians are continuing to be (or at least striving to be) original in an industry when everything has already been done
before. People are really stretching themselves artistically.

so you wanted electronica to be the end result of a series of algorithms, totally devoid of any human
attachment? you've got me a bit flummoxed.
