2 min into it, i am pretty sure that the keyboardist is playing "jingle bells" in the background, and the mixing is so mind numbing, it's so muted sounding.
and yeah, that's def jingle bells back there, so i guess i'll break this out beginning of december to get me in the mood

Although I do agree that the mixing is pretty bad. Seems like there are just too many layers in the songs.

thanks for the kind words, and the criticism! the mix is definitely off, but our budget was only 3k for recording, mixing, and mastering and even with jamie king only 3000 dollars doesnt go very far so we had to go for a ballpark sound and just couldnt get every little tweak that we desperately wanted. we recorded as much as we could on our budget, and opted to save about 30 minutes of material to put on our LP were writing which will hopefully come out in the next year.
i love btbam, and have grown up listening to them and tommy and pauls bands they were in before btbam. i dont think we sound like them though, especially in the solos. nick has a drastically different style from paul. that being said they are one of my favorite bands and we are so grateful to dan who wrote and performed all of the bass guitar on our ep.
thanks again for the comments and criticism! i hope youll keep a lookout for us and keep an ear out for new releases. wedefinitely want to improve. we are all between 19-22 so we have plenty of time to do it!

Only problem with this was too many interludes; they could have easily lengthened all of them to make some actual songs.
