Ocean Machine is where it felt like he came to terms with everything but City feels like the process of working through it, being in the throes of it, feeling the rush of adrenaline and all the conflicting emotions.
as someone with bipolar it's hard to express what this album means to me but I have so much respect for Devin being open with his struggling with it. the impact it has on ur work is very interesting and i think that in particular comes thru on this album a lot
