Don't really know the tracks names yet cause I just ran all the way through it but Milano was the definite highlight for me.

Milano is amazing. Hoppipolla is one of my fave tracks if all time though. How does it compare with () based on your first listen?

Well () was immediate but I like each for for different reasons. () is a little bleaker and more epic but this is just plain euphoric and beautiful.

Pretty much summed up my thoughts. Jam Agaetis and Kveikur if you haven't

I like Kveikur a lot. It's much different than their other works I've heard but still awesome.

Yeah it rules, love the heavier, industrial tracks. Also, Rafstraumer is perfect.

Yea industrial stuff rules.
On a side note I love the recurring phrase "you si lo" on (). I wonder what it means. This hopelandic language Jonsi sings in is genius.

Its just nonsense syllables man, its up to you to make your own interpretation. Personally, I like not knowing what he is singing. It makes the music so universal, if that makes sense.

It certainly sounds like nonsense but imo there's got to be some sort of meaning to them. I mean the same phrase "you si lo" is repeating throughout that album. Also in the final track it sounds like he says "you fall down" a lot. Such an interesting style of song writing :D

Yeah man, never heard anything like it.

So glad I got into them. And post rock in general.

I'm not a huge post rock guy, the song lengths make it daunting and the average stuff can be kind of boring. Just my opinion though, I can see how other people could love it.

I take it your not a huge prog guy either then. Have you tried Skinny Fists yet?

I love the big four of post rock. God Is an Astronaut is a great starting post rock band. Skinny fists is one of the most powerful albums ever created imo. It's almost flawless for me.

Sup demi. EITS are awesome from what I've heard, but I have no desire to listen much further as I
could see their formula becoming kinda stale. Finish uni in a month, will jam then. As for prog, I
obvs love the Floyd and have enjoyed most of the 70s stuff I have jammed. Still yet to completely
immerse myself in the genre though.

Obviously I've done that. Prog and post rock are kinda acquired tastes because of the song lengths and among other shit but love them both to death

More power to you bro p/
I'll get into it eventually, all depends on mood and stuff. No point jamming something if you're not feeling it

Yea same for any post rock album. I'll jump to random parts on skinny fists every once in a while but it doesn't have the same effect if I listen all the way through.
