Just curious. Who do you consider great metal guitarists?
|

I won't knock you for being young but because of your age, you can't grasp how big they were
I suggest you don't review bands if you have no perspective on their importance

some dude in a cool confederate flag themed pantera t shirt probably beat this kid up on the way out of his mother's bedroom so he stole his vulgar display cd and spun it once and then whined into microsoft word for 40 minutes to spat out this turd.
this kid just wants some attention and we keep giving it to him.

can't hear the bass? maybe you should turn the volume up...some frequencies aren't audible when you keep it set to low baby volume. classic record.
also, don't genre hate so much on new metal...i prefer to call the good stuff, alternative metal.

this is about as bad as that one dude that reviewed Master Of Puppets and gave it like a 2.5 or something like that

I'm all for opinions and subjectivity, but calling Pantera nu metal is just wrong. No matter how much you try to describe their sound as such, even going as far saying "chugga chugga guitars" is just masking all the other factors that don't make them nu metal. If this is how you define it, you might as well call a band like Meshuggah nu metal, even though they are clearly not.

Not just the riffs. The songwriting, the lyrics, the attitude. With lyrics like "I CRUSH YOUR RUSH!!! I RULE YOU, FOOL!!!", you can't say you've heard countless nu metal songs with that same idiotic bravado?

Half these guitarists came before Dime. How could they have been influenced by him?
