I really liked this record a decade ago, but it just doesn't do it for me anymore outside of a few songs.

This isn't a bad review. It's not conventional but sonic does this all the time and no one cares (he's just blowing the album instead of slamming it). The music is pretty annoying on nearly all levels and the reviewer brings up solid points about the trend killers and nu-metal stuff. If nothing else, a guy whose never heard Pantera should get a pretty accurate idea of what this band/album is. I'll pos.
