that being said don't give up on the band or judge them till you get to Scrambles, and if you still hate them try Vacation cuz it's a bit different

Yes. I think the band has a really natural progression from album to album and their career is ultimately rounded out really well by the journey from Album Minus Band to Vacation. Definitely the way to go.

Vacation does need a bit of time. Listening to it from back to front did it for me pretty well: eventually, every song sunk in.
