Fanboy? Come the fuck on dude. OOS and Absolution take turns pooping on this with BHAR videotaping and Showbiz cheering them all on (and that's a vast understatement). At their best (OOS) Muse is the best fucking rock band on the planet, especially live. At their worst (this) the band has some really disturbing lapses of common sense and taste. The new song for the Twifag movie really only solidified their objective to be an American pop sensation by watering down everything that made them great and relatively unique. Whereas in Europe a band that puts out albums like OOS and Absolution get huge press and critical acclaim because their music industry and press caters more to new/underground bands and hype, in the US it isn't worth shit to the media or decision-makers to "push" that band unless it's a "safe", palatable, broadly-appealing record comprised of 3 minute pop songs. Muse is now blatantly catering to that crowd and it's sickening. And that's coming from someone who's been a fan for years.

LOL I would much rather hear Muse and Nirvana on the radio instead of worthless dogshit like Nickelback, their 500 clones, 95% of what they call "hip-hop" and "R&B", or newest daughter of an industry exec writing nursery rhymes on their acoustic guitar for a gajillion dollars. US mainstream music of the 00's is pretty much the worst shit ever created
