That scream on "Thank You For Listening" is so fucking good that I cry every time. Seriously.

Ok maybe not seriously, but it is so awesome and out of nowhere.

I love playing House Carpenter and Summer's Lost back to back.

Edit: Good place to leave my 5,000th comment.

"Talk To God"'s lyrics are so great. At least because they are personal to me.

Hurt talk is awesome.

One of my favorite Hurt songs on Vol.1 is "Cold Inside", which I think is very underrated.

"Cold on the inside, in me the lights die, staring through ardent eyes, as tears drop like moist flies."

As for this album, "Aftermath" has to be one of my favorites. It's such a mysterious song and I love how it ends so abruptly.

i love 'talking to god' but i sort of feel like the lyrics are a tad too blunt compared to some of the songs where he addresses religion more subtly, like 'rapture' or 'dirty' you know? that said i love the song, especially the outro. might be my favorite moment of the album.

We really need some news from these guys. It's unbearable having to wait.

here's what we have so far:

- they're looking at an april/may release date but it keeps getting pushed back. no news on title or a single or anything so that's probably wishful thinking.

- they've been playing a bunch of new songs live, but they've sounded kind of basic sadly, more of a push in the GTTM direction

- did you guys hear 'numbers?' that's probably in the vein of what most of the new stuff will sound like

- however they continue to insist the album will be "an angrier volume 1"

Numbers was extremely disappointing but I've still got my hopes up for the new album.

yeah numbers was by far the worst thing they've done. i will try to keep hopes up but realistically it would be a huge surprise if they managed to match either of the volumes.

I think after GTTM they are going to push more mainstream appeal so they get a decent signing. I hope not, but I could understand if they did. They don't make much money.

GTTM has kinda grown off me. Some of the individual songs are awesome but it doesn't have the consistency or depth of the volumes. I didn't like Numbers either.
