MrKite, you can get more info from Wiki, but in a very brief summary, Jello and his former bandmates got in some legal arguements over song royaties and payments ect. and then sued him. Jello lost the case and had to pay the amount. That's probably why you can hear DK songs on Tony Hawk games now because he doesn't have sole possesion. So, you can say he didn't 'sell out' because he didn't want to use songs for commercials ect, but there more to it then that. But the main reason they broke up is originally is mentioned in the review.
And I don't think they're are any official DVD's out, but live albums have been released since Jello left, this one and another.
