the National recently told NME that they wrote a song for the film. It was originally called "Dying Is Easy", which was thought to be "too dark" and changed to "Lean".

"The song almost didn't make it because it was too dark," Matt Berninger said.

I leaned on the wall and the wall leaned away

can I get a minute and not be nervous,

and not think about my dick?

you know I dreamed about you, for 29 years

it's just one of those songs that makes you sit back and think about where your life is, whether you actually feel like Matt does in the song or not.

Does the king stay the king?

Hit the nail on the head, bro. This band has a way of knowing how to describe exactly what you are feeling.

Good? Come jam?

Still wrecked from the weekend, biggest one in recent memory. Went down to the beach with the boys from friday-monday and gave my liver a good kicking. Get up to much over the weekend?

Exactly. Except for Trouble Will Find Me, personally. Can't relate to a lot of those songs, although that may be because I'm not 40 like they are.

On a related note, stupid newb question here.....how do you quote posts on this site? Can you?

Great album, probably my favourite from The National. Such a provocative atmosphere.
