Wait, it's working now. Agreed, that part is pretty sweet. My fav part is when he brings in The Charlatans on track 2

Yeah, it's a really unique mashup as far as I can tell.

I've tried to find more like it but haven't gotten anywhere.

The whole thing was the result of a session he did for a radio station. Apparently it's virtually the same, except he threw in some Beatles as well, think maybe he couldn't get clearance for the copyrights on the album. I'll have to re-check that though, review should be up some time tomorrow

Yeah, The Breezeblock.

I bought the release on CD when it first came out, I had no context for it. It's become a solid favourite of mine over the years though.

Yeah, I remember just buying it because it was The Prodigy, hadn't even heard it. Random piece of infomation: in the video for 'Smack My Bitch Up', at the very beginning the protagonist picks up a cd and pops it into the stereo. The cd's marked The Dirtchamber Session Vol. 1, this was about a year before Dirtchamber came out

I really love some of the beats on this album, especially girls', but the songs don't always come together. Definitely not a bad album though and I think it closes really well with the last 3 tracks or so. Not as far behind Invaders Must Die as I thought.

This is okay stuff, but Spitfire is still the most annoying rave song of all time, like oh my god it rapes my ears until they bleed.

I can't seem to harden myself to the shrill whine of a shrieking high-pitched Egyptian sequel taking turns gang-banging each of my ears.

Haha nah it's cool. I only dig a couple of songs from these guys and even still, they get a rare listen.
