I really like IWY too, hard 3.5, but first is just ridiculous. I feel like Gyro is trolling but I'm never sure with that crazy character

Wow I was just short of getting an aneurysm because of that "I'm with you >>> everything else" comment.

You're in a trolling mood today.

BSSM best RHCP.

I'm With You is pretty low. It's just inoffensive, bland mush. It's the plain oatmeal of music.

Give It Away is actually one of the weaker songs on that album, IMO.

Californication isn't amazing, but it's also the album that inspired me to start playing guitar, so it has a special place in my heart even if I don't enjoy it as much as I used to.

Cali is my favorite as well. But Stadium Arcadium was THE Jam in my circle of friends back when i was 15, so I'll always have a soft spot for it, even if it's bloated and would be way better if they just picked the 11-12 best songs.
(Dani California, Snow, Slow Cheetah, Especially in Michigan, Wet Sand, Desecration Smile, Tell me Baby, Hard to concentrate, Hey, Turn it Again, Death of a Martian or something like that)

yeah it's wayyyyy too bloody long, and kind of cheesy in a bad way. i do enjoy some of the cuts though, definitely nostalgic

It's definitely got some good stuff. It's also definitely got some snoozers. I agree that if it had been cut down to a single disc, it would have been much better.

BSSM is for sure their best, and you won't find many people who would argue this

Tbh i love "The Empyrean" by Frusciante more than anything RHCP have ever done.

Eh frusciante's solo stuff is alright. He's one of my favorite musicians, but I think he only really shines when he's with rhcp

Cali is my favorite, BSSM is tied with BTW for second best. This isn't as weak as a lot of people think, first and last few songs are fantastic.
