man one time i listened to this like a few weeks ago and suddenly it just made sense like. ive always really loved this album but like all the details were 5 times more clear and they all fit together better and all the textures and noises seemed way more interesting and almost alien and it was some of the best music id ever heard. i keep trying to replicate that experience but i can't and idk why cause there wasn't anything special about when i listened to it that one time but if it was like that every time i heard it i would 5 it immediately

these days whenever I listen to autechre i just get down because I know I'll never create anything nearly as good as even their worst stuff

never listened to oneohtrix (partially because it's a worse pronunciation puzzle than autechre), where should I start?

for your tastes id say start with his newest and work your way backwards, his old stuff is cool lo-fi progressive electronics and replica and r plus seven are more next level stuff

i would probably say his more recent stuff (r plus 7 or replica) and go from there but i'm no opn expert. you can't go wrong with any of his stuff though really

edit: shiz hyp beat me 2 da punch

radical thanks broes. Reniform Puls is the perfect closer to this record, oh man. trying to decide if I want to bump this up to a 4.5.

one-ohh-trix point never

he said in an interview somewhere that it was based on a radio station in NY where one of his friends made a joke that was something like "106.7? more like 106 point never"

thats what made me realize how it was pronounced

I was sure it peaked for me at LP5 and Confield.
