Tbqh, the only hate this album seems to be getting is that I find it somewhat boring in areas (the songs I have heard that is). That's my main problem with it (and some of the clean singing).

The only song that might get a little boring for me is "On the Banks of the Mississippi" and it's still really good so yeah.

hardcore vox sucked but i thought the cleans were fantastic and the album has already grown off slightly, really weak 3.5 atm

I agree about "On the Banks of the Mississippi".. that song is a little slow in the beginning. But the melody towards the end of the solo and the cleans at the end of the song totally make up for it. Also its pretty much the opposite for me- the CD has really grown on me gradually. First listen I was a little underwhelmed and I didn't feel like there were enough standout moments on the CD. I probably would've had it at 3.5 but after like 7-8 listens I really got into it and now I really like every song. The acoustic section of Circle of Agony is fucking sick and Sombre Fall is possibly their best song, just edging out Det Rakner (really depends on my mood).

Yeah this was a grower for me too.
Wayakin is badass.
There I said it.
And yeah Sombre Fall is their best song imo...if only for the ambient section in the middle when that guitar lead comes in...beautiful.

I fucking love that part so much. I think the entire song is beautiful hahaha... that part is definitely the highlight though without a doubt. The melodies throughout the whole song are all fantastic.

When I started listening to this I was like what the hell is this stupid crap, but there are some great tunes on this like Dark Prophets and Sombre Fall.

The reviewer reviewed this album based on the leaked version.
The tracks are tagged wrongly on that version. Mannefall is the second song and Ain't No Lovin' is the acoustic track after that.

Doesn't matter, the review was released on the day of the album's release. Besides, that stream can't prove a thing. Maybe the reviewer just mixed the titles up on accident.

I go by Metal Archive's track listing, like I normally do, and they have it the other way around.

The leak is titled wrong. It makes no sense, track 2 is Mannefall and is a song about Mannefall. Track 2 is Ain't No Lovin.
Besides, that stream can't prove a thing. That stream is the official stream.
Metal-archives has had many mistakes in the past and has had them corrected by the bands themselves or other users.

Captivating Solitude is still my favourite song so far this year, if all the songs were as good as that song, this would easily be a 5.

Mannefall is the slower, doomy track and should be the second on the album. Aint No Lovin is the bluesy minute long interlude and should be track 3.
Also a 3.8 average rating? wtf guys this is a 4.1 at worst
