im glad peopel find this album generic cause its a FUCKING RIP , and everytime i die should pack this shit the fuck in, biggest upset album ever in my opinion, i read in revolver i believe that kieth buckely stated hot damn was just notes jotted down and this album was the novel, that mother fucker , doesnt he remember he released 2 previous albums of totaly carnage , it really pisses me off when bands forget where their coming from and really bums me out when they give into the scene sooo quickly

Just picked this up yesterday and I liked it a lot.

I liked the song Bored Stiff where Keith yells "Girls, i'm a cunt" I laughed when I heard that and the tracks entirety. I actually enjoyed this album, I never saw how Hot Damn! is better than this though.

I'm actually surprised by how much I'm still enjoying this album. I figured it'd get old right away. We'll see what happens. Right now tho, I maintain a steady 3.5-4.

They've slowly started to decrease in quality since Last Night In Town. This is by no means a bad album, but compared to the releases before this, it's pretty bland and boring.

Meh, I have The Burial Plot Bidding War and I wasn't too impressed by that. Partly because the recording is shit tho. This cd is a little over produced, that takes away from it slightly.

Its MUCH more catchy than their previous albums, plus its 10x better produced than Hot Damn! Plus the guest vocals on Chomping At The Bit by Daryl was pretty good.

This is dissapointing compared to Hot Damn! because it doesn't have the same incredible riffs, general explosive energy or amazing lyrics.



Everything came together on Hot Damn! All there energy and focus happened on that album. The other two have been good for their own reasons, but Hot Damn! is incredible.



I saw ETID live in London a couple weeks back. they were excellent, but you could tell the effect the new album has had on them because songs like "Godspeed Us to the Sea" was played really slowly.



"Floater" was incredible though

Being honest. i just dont find the great thing about it...screaming is not sooooooo good..../ boring melody too.

Wow.. this band is terrible. There screamer annoys the living hell out of me, and the drummer sucks terribly. I have heard two songs from these guys, both of which were supposedly their best stuff. Well let me tell you.. I absolutely hated it. I despise this band, and I'm a huge fan of this genre. Nothing else to say.. even all my friends hate this band.. they suck!!

there are pretty good songs here, but some of the tunes here I just cant get into and I agree that the melody of some are boring. I think if they balanced the screams and singing equally, it would be great ( but that's just me)

On all their other albums they have little hints of being a cocky rock n roll band, but always did it as a tongue in cheek kind of spinal tap kind of way
but on this album it just kind of seems like they really do think they're that kind of band
i think they should get back to what they do best, tearing shit up
