i don't care how many words you can regurgitate from thesaurus.com to this review site, reviewing is about sending a message to readers, not trying to sound smart to please yourself. if your writing is so bogged down by superfluous crap that reading it is more of a chore than an informative exercise, you've missed the fucking point of reviewing.

Was this a chore to read through? No, I was not speaking in French and quoting Plato, nor was I using words like phantasmagorical, piquant and nepenthe.

actually quoting Plato might be slightly more interesting than the copycat reviews you post of things that have already been reviewed like 10 times

and the 2nd paragraph completely fucks up the whole flow of the review because you're like hey lemme just tell you about a single song out of nowhere and then let that just sit there while i go talk about something else
