I think most fans of doom would agree what sets him apart is moreso his production, lyricism, and complex flow than the fact that he wears a cool mask
But we can agree that scars and memories is incredible for sure and can also agree that Grimm deserves more love

Don’t sleep on his mystique and the consistent superhero/villain themes and imagery he kept up throughout his discog. I know that was in part what drew me in. Love the album covers and all the mystery surrounding him

Rappers get huge and die tragically here in the bay at such an incredible rate I can't even properly explain it. Ever time I pick up a first album by an artist I know there's a 50/50 shot they are already murdered. Unfortunately to me it feels like the hip-hop scene here is filled with so much death I was always just thankful Doom was able to make so much good stuff and reach such an audience

It is insane how frequently rappers get murdered over there. We also have that problem in the Midwest but I feel like on the west coast it's a whole other level.
