The production on here is perfect for the album, the feel and atmosphere wouldn't be as primal (which suits the concept perfectly) as it is with good production. If anyone wants to hear shit production listen to any of durazis demos, they make this sound like a pop record while still being awesome

Bergtatt has enough bm elements to count as a bm record

Theres just something bout raw BM that I love. Its to the point with no bullshit for the most part.
I remember when I could even get through one track of this back two years ago since the production bothered me so much. Nowadays, this really isn't even close to the rawest piece of black metal I can dig. Oh how the times change...

Yeah, it simply took time to get past the production, but now I can easily listen to this.

I like Bergtatt, a lot, but this beats it easily nowadays. I'd say there are enough BM elements on it to call it a BM record.

I can't get into bergtatt... this one is pretty good though.

Saying Bergtatt isn't really bm is kind of silly.

Bergtatt is definitely one of the better black metal (related) albums I've heard.
Still never listen to it though.
