If only the other Unmoored albums were as good as this one. Cimmerian is mostly mediocre groove metal-styled melodeath and Kingdoms of Greed is decent but just feels like an inferior version of this. Gotta hope that they decide to do another one again someday since they technically haven't broken up.

But hey, all parts of the Final State trilogy are great and it was neat to see where Torchbearer and Solution .45 got their names from!

Nice bump, very overlooked album. Unspeakable Grief, Phase of Revulsion and Cinders Veil in particular are amazing.

This was probably the first non-Scar Symmetry album featuring Christian Alvestam that I checked back when I was first getting into the genre and I still like it a lot. I still hope the members find some time between their other projects to return for at least one more album someday.
