it honestly shouldn't surprise anyone. When he got hit by that van everyone was like "OMGGGG HE IS SO AWESOME DONT DIE" and the people that lived in the Bangor area were like, "Fuck him, who cares"

He's a good writer but I have no respect for him because I consider him a complete sell-out (you remember how anticlimactic the end of The Dark Tower Series was once he let all the fame inflate his ego, right?)
