Metalingus is my favorite on this album, along with One Day Remains.

This album has too many Creed notes to be much of a reference to me. This is not pure Alter Bridge. However, there are for sure some highlights such as Find The Real, One Day Remains, Metalingus, Broken Wings, In Loving Memory. But other songs like The End Is Here just don't do with me. It's a great debut of course, but. Nice job Ties.

Yeah the biggest problem is that Blackbird seriously overshadows this album. Less Creed influence, more metal influence, less slow songs, more solos, etc...
It makes me not come back to this album as much, even though there's still some great stuff here. The first half of the album in particular is very strong.

Shed My Skin is the worst song this band has ever written. Really really boring musically, and Kennedy's worst vocals. I like The End Is Here because of the heavy kick in the middle, that Arabian-ish riff is awesome. And Watch Your Words is Metallica-ish, which is cool.
