Can only listen to a select few songs off of their albums anymore, but honestly Daisy has 3-4 good songs and the rest are pretty disposable.

I think people hate on the lyrics on Daisy too much.
We just expect too much out of them...if any other band besides Brand New had released this, people wouldn't talk shit.

well that kind of comes with the territory when you are a band of their status - of course we are going to hold them to higher standards. the musical components of daisy met those expectations imo, but the lyrics are slightly subpar for them

Yeah and I totally agree, but at the same time, I feel like people are making a huge deal about it, I've seen so many people trashing them... "You Stole" "Vices" "Bought A Bride" and "Daisy" all have pretty good lyrics. It's definitely a step down, but they're still good.

I'm gonna go ahead and admit that a year after writing this review, I've come to grow fond of this album.
I seldom listen to individual tracks though. I listen to the whole thing, it's one of those albums where it feels like all the songs are tied together pretty well.
Edit: I can't say I like the way I wrote this review though. Should get in the habit of writing more to get better, been a while.
