I'd rate Animal Nitrate a 3 out of 5 and that's the best thing here
This was a lot worse than expected, and ok, I hate Suede anyway but still - meant to be a big album.
Two thirds of the album is pedestrian as ferk, overrated don't begin to describe it

Blatant self promotion but basically a Lidl Bowie.

Take an average tune from Bowie's glam phase...'Lady Stardust'? Even then this lot aren't a patch on that.
By 'Coming Up' they were unlistenable lol

anyway, some of the best guitarwork on the 90s, same goes for Dog Man Star
that said i DO like Richard Oakes a lot as well, the Lazy, Beautiful Ones & Starcrazy "riffs" are some of their finest

Cannot get enough of ‘that boy on the stage’ what an absolutely top drawer stomper. Really looking forward to the new album.

Absolute stunner of an album with a goat cover. I’m not a ballad-guy on a normal day, but these ones (She’s Not Dead, Sleeping Pills, Pantomime Horse, The Next Life) are all breathtaking.

Yep they can certainly do a good ballad.
I stuck the Blue Hour on last night and I have concluded it’s their best album. Has the lot.
