Demon this is a 4.8 in my reckoning. Boxer and High Violet are 5.0s; High Violet is my favorite album of all time. I also only just bumped this to a 5. So for me there is still a distinct gap between this and those.

Fair enough, you seem to have a slightly different rating system to me, we have a vaguely similar number of total ratings (900s) & you have almost double my 5s & a higher average. Not a criticism, just an observation.

classics are a funny thing, i've recently thought of london calling as a (stone cold) classic album, but i honestly can't bring myself to 5'in it (same with rumours and a few others). And by that i don't mean that they're only near-classics, i just don't think they're complete enough to deserve that elite's only 5-tag.
