Hang Him High was one of my initial favorites because it's do damn catchy but as I got to know the rest of the album better it became one of my least favorites.

hasn't grown off me yet and that spoken part in the intro is bad ass, they could've added a few more of those to the album maybe

I will never get around to this because this band has only disappointed me.

Hurts my eyes Wiz.

Though I have to agree with Balls once more, Global Domintation is a mighty fine track. The Quest is pretty damn epic imo.

I dig this, what other parts of their discography should I try out?

I liked virus so I'll probably check this out.

Nice, I've never seen a user with over 200 reviews.

Nice review Robin! Voted.

these are more or less my thoughts on the album. I guess my favourite songs here are "The Quest", "Solar empire" and "Global Domination"

This lacks the extreme brutality of Virus and is a little less catchier, but an awesome album nonetheless.

Appreciate it Echo. I prefer the apocalyptic alienized type of Hypocrisy so I dig this more than Virus atm. But I really hope that the band could release an album that sounds like Osculum Obscenum. It would be very interesting to hear them play old-school death these days.

Me too actually, that's why my favourite song here is "The Quest". It just missed the organs they used to used before back when their albums would make you think the end apocalypse was really at hand. ;D

The only problem with old school death is that one can't be too diverse with it, otherwise it isn't old school death. It would be interesting to see what it would sound like if they did.

I like Solar Empire. =) I sort of started playing this cd while browsing other reviews, and it actually was good enough to bring my attention back to what I was listening to.

It's rare that I'm willing to rate before even finishing listening to an album.. but this is very good. I get the feeling further exposure is only going to lead me to more justification for a 4.

Excellent review for a kick ass album.

The blend of catchy riffs with Peter superb vocal talent result in another blast metal album.
