To be honest, this album has the same problem as 'Bloody Kisses', in that it's just too bloody long for its own good. Every single track on here (bar the three tracks that barely reach over half a minute) is beautifully written, but some are marred by the fact that their overall runtime is 7-10 minutes long. That said, this album is a milestone in Type O Negative's career, even if it isn't necessarily their best.

I agree with dude above that Type O tends to make albums a little longer than their own good. but they still rule.

It was his (Peter Steele's) birthday like a week ago. This album is great, so is Bloody Kisses. I'd say Kisses edges this out slightly, just because the mood I'm in though, they're really interchangeable.

To me one of the best albums of all time made by my all-time greats. It's difficult to find anything - and I mean anything - that comes close to this jewel. I'm a big fan of their entire catalog but this was so very special. You need to give it some time and it will grow on you
