Back to the basics with heavy riffs and Tills wonderfull hardcore voice.
This album kicks in at the very beginning and gets better and better.
Can't wait to see them at koncert in December.

I've always had a soft spot for Rammstein, but they've never made an album I could listen to all the way through. But let's face it, this is good, consistent, the right amount of experimental, and just prime Rammstein.

I wouldn't call this their best album, but at the same time, it ain't bad. I found the lyrics to "Pussy" to be hilariously dumb, which actually gives it a fair bit of charm... at the same time, Rammlied (How often do they invoke their name?) is just flat-out awesome, and "Wiener Blut" hits the creepy factor as best as I've heard from them in a while.
"Haifisch," though, for me, is probably the best here. I can't say for sure, but, still, I really like it.
I need to get around to writing something with more substance to it...

meh, I can't get that much into it. On the instrumental side, this is album is good, but Till's voice isn't working on too many songs.
What made Rammstein was Till's really low voice, and on that album he sings... I was going to say high, but it's just a "normal" range, in too many songs and while it works well in a few of those, most of the time it is a bit painful :-/
and their softer songs are just boring compared to what they used to do (seeman, Klavier, Stein um Stein, Feuer und Wasser)
This not a bad album, it probably deserves a 3 or maybe a (little) 3.5, but I expect that much more from a Rammstein album, I give them a 2.5 for the disapointment

I listened through it 6-7 more times, and I still think this is by far their worst album. I have to force myself not to skip some songs.
I saw them live last week, they played many songs from the new album, and they shouldn't. Wiener Blut and Pussy killed the show (litteraly, for the 2-3 songs after it, no one was moving any more).
and if you're speaking about my last sentence, I changed my opinion: this album isn't worth more than a 2.5 to me, even if I try to be objectiv.
