lucca the drummer is the best part of the band but that doesn't translate very well into good songs and good sound but Dark Horse's guitar work is great.

"sometimes it feels like you guys think this band is unique"
they actually kind of are. and if not, that's just because quite a lot of bands have almost straight up ripped off these guys (part of which is because kurt has been producing their albums)

they were unique back in the jane doe days

Fair point, Storm. I guess we just disagree on their songs being good, then. And yeah, the guitar work on Dark Horse is what first got me hooked onto Converge.

When Forever Comes Crashing if that album was the one you guys sputted over I wouldn't even troll Converge threads because that's in between a 3.5 and a 4 in a time where they could have been called unique or part of a movement but you guys don't even comment there. It's always been funny to me.

yea people are stupid tbh
when forever comes crashing is 2nd or 3rd for me. its just simply one of the best things they ever did and some people act like it doesnt exist. converge plays no tracks from it live any more either

i love wfcc and so do most converge fans here, it just has the unfortunate status as the album that preceded jane doe which marked a turn of page in the scene so it's bound to get a little overlooked
