My favourite parts of this are the first half of 09-15-00 Part 1, all of 09-15 00 part 2 and Motherfucker=Redeemer Part 1.
Rockets Fall On Rocket Falls is interesting but doesn't quite have the same atmosphere as those ones.
Motherfucker=Redeemer Part 2 is a bit too much of a predictable post-rock track for my liking.
Really interesting how everyone has such different reactions to this record though

I probably go back to this album the most out of the GY!BE discography these days. It isn't my favorite, but it's still an incredible record.

On a Godspeed roll right now and I'm honestly enjoying this as much as all their albums before this, don't quite understand why people are divided about it

I can hear a Labradford/Tortoise influence on tracks 1, 2 and the very end of 4. Love it!

I can't wait until it starts to get hot and stormy outside. This and F sharp A sharp are perfect for that type of atmosphere.

Lucky for us in Texas we've had that "hot and stormy" thing on lock for weeks
Except it's not lucky and it sucks ass
