Skeleton tree and ghosteen are both ass, more so the latter tho which is a strong contender for worst album of the decade. Carnage isn't as bad but it isn't very good either

so you listen to the Cave on his tod with a piano album last year and whenever it gets to a Ghosteen or Skeleton track you think it's a bad song?
Or it's just the treatment/performance of the songs on the original albums you think ruins them?

classy affair here, enjoy a nice scotch.. maybe wine if that's your thing.

It's the god awful lyrics, the cheesy af orchestration, the vocals which are oftentimes extremely grating. His older music had so much more going on musically. Comparatively ghosteen sounds like baby's first keyboard.
Sky is his last good album imo
