it really does. i was like whoa when 'crystallized' came up on my shuffle the other day. very intrigued to hear what a sophomore release will be like.



and i like this better than anything jamie xx has done on his own by a fair amount. not that he's not great sometimes on his own, but the duets really bring this to another level imo

Came back to this album recently and instantly connected with it despite being indifferent for the past two years. I think it's either because I have an appreciation for minimalism now or because I couldn't find the emotional entry point before. Either case, this is unbelievable stuff.
