I've seen these live vids of them that got me really sad. Don't get me wrong, I like this record better than all of their previous, but Bert really can't scream anymore. I don't know what happened though. When I saw them last year he was screaming his lungs out. Hoping for a speed recovery of his vocal chords.

One of the better reviews I have read on here. I couldn't agree with it more. I am one of their more hardcore fans that loves their first two albums and cannot stand "Lies..." so after their last effort I thought the Used was done for. This album, however, is refreshingly quite enjoyable. I think the change in producers helped get a different sound out of them. Great album, great review.

In Love and Death blew cocks so hard. I don't really remember most of Lies but Pretty Handsome Awkward is still a baller song.

it took me a loooooong time to like this album. the first time i heard it, i hated it and didnt listen to it for a while. i gave it a second chance about 3 weeks ago and now i cant stop listening to it. the only thing that bothers me is that the drumming is pretty simple and weak but i can stand it enough cuz the rest of the music is awesome. what i dont understand is that dan is a good drummer...he plays theyre older songs that branden wrote perfectly when they play live. plus has anyone heard theyre new demo "something safe"? the drumming in that is pretty good and a lot better than the drumming in artwork...so maybe the simple drumming is what the used wanted for the album but who knows...
