In my opinion this is among the ten best Black Metal albums of all time, this is underrated.

I like this album because it sounds like "normal" black metal production-wise; the drums don't sound programmed, the melodies are fairly normal, and there's no overwhelming sense of heavy mechanical evil. It's less weird than their other stuff, which makes this album unique for the band, but not unoriginal. And it has loads of normal melodies, which makes it really easy to listen to. I'll probably bump this to a 4 if I ever get around to listening through it again.
