bubs there's a bside to this called Soon you can put on its pretty decent. That, Winter and Mercy and you could make a good tracklist

What ash said. ATYCLB is massive nostalgia for me, and I just meant out of their modern records for best start to a U2 album. Obviously their best albums The Joshua Tree, Unforgettable Fire, and War have the best openings.

"Its embarrasing that we treat this band like a serious musical act and not the "Greatest Hits" fodder they obviously are"

Their mid-late 80s albums too.

Also yea I made a playlist of this starting with Soon, a nice 2-minute track that opened their concerts during this album's tour cycle.

The Joshua Tree is amazing, Boy is excellent and underrated, Achtung Baby is a bit overrated but still fantastic.

achtung is way up there for me from them. the fly is one of my all time favorite songs of theirs with ultraviolet acrobat one and wild horses not far behind

ala do you just find their album cuts boring? how much attention were you actually paying when listening to joshua and achtung (boy i can understand took a while for me to really dig it)
