thanks man i dont know why i brough it up just to kill the mood but at least his death was quick and painless (so im told), i can only hope i go out in a similar fashion (not in a crash obviously). Still awful because he had just turned 20 and had his whole life ahead of him, but its another reminder to live life to the fullest

Weird because one of my friends from high school also died in a bike accident at age 20, but it was in 2012. Life is crazy man.

Im sorry to hear that too, the terrible thing about road accidents is that even if you follow every fucking road rule all it takes is some drunk dickhead to run a red light and wipe you off the face of the earth, which was the case with my cousin.
The year above me from my highschool must have some kind of curse because in the past 4 years since graduating 5 people have been taken and a few were in pretty horrific ways. One of which I witnessed at a house party. Not gonna go into too much detail but It was first degree murder (the guy responsible is only serving a 9 year sentence as he was on methamphetamine and not thinking straight but thats the justice system for you in Australia) and it was bloody and it shook me to my core because i had recently become good friends with the guy and we had been talking about moving to Canada for a while (both have duel citizenship) before he was taken. It really caused me to put things into perspective and re-evaluate my life in a sense. If i took anything from that it was to enjoy life's simple pleasures, not to stress over small things and to put friends and interests before work and $ as much as I can. Savoring every moment I can which sounds clique as fuck but its my goal.
Sorry guys I should keep this sort of thing to myself but I'm in one of those moods tonight, and listening to this again its such a good album

Yeah bro you never know what can happen, anything is possible which is why you have to live life to the fullest like you said before.
As for the album, I'm throwing a 5 on it. I love all of their albums, but this one just stands out ahead of the pack for me so hard. m/

How is this the lowest rated Insomnium album?

No idea, maybe the poor English in a few of the lyrics ("when the mankind moves"), but musically it's excellent. Then again, so are all their other albums.

How is this the lowest rated Insomnium album?
Literally what I was coming into this thread to say.

Album Rating: 4.0
Idk, the only reason I rated it this low was because it didn't touch me like the other albums did, so it had much less of an impact on me. Maybe that's the same for other people.

Exact opposite on my end haha. I love every Insomnium album but this one is easily my favorite and brings the feels hardest of them all for me.
