"don't need no Man the Ramparts or Jane Doe"

A song like this would never work on this record.

"Listening to this band, there isn't enough balance. It is too tense for me."

This is the only one of their LPs that is like so you might as well just pick up another one if it doesn't do it for you, none of their records are anything like this.

I liked it on first listen

But it's effect has grown off me significantly because at the time i heard it I was like "WOW HEAVY AND MEAN AND AGGRESSIVE AND JUNZ AND WOW" and now it's like "yea ok you're heavy can you move the fuck on you're boring me" whenever i try to listen in full

I can handle individual songs though

I donno, sometimes something can grow off of you and then grow back on you even more. That's happened a few times for me, sort of happened for me with this album

Maybe

But for roughly 4 months whenever I try to listen to this album in full at first I'm like "Yeah ok, this fucking rules hell yeah" then something like 25 or 30 minutes in I'm like "Ugh this is so fucking BORING" and I have to take a rest, sometimes I forget to jam the rest

Dang, oh well. It's pretty straight forward but I always thought *#.. and the title track gave it some nice breathing room to make the album more listenable as a whole.

I dunno. Nothing's gonna hurt if I keep giving it more chances to grow but I just can't get over the lack of variation, even in the slow moments it's still incredibly tense. Maybe I will like it more someday idk

That said, 43% Burnt and The Running Board are always phenomenal.
