I'm gonna jam it right now. It's been about a year since I last listened to it so maybe I'll like it more now

It's not their most... raw and direct release, I guess, since the production is very heavy handed in the whole album, and Bannon's vox are the hardest to get into

But anyway, when relationship shit and stuff like that happens to me I usually listen to JD, and recently EYEWTKAS

I jammed Jane Doe and this was probably the best it's ever sounded in like 4 years of trying to like it and it still bored the shit out of me. Listening to Everything by Glassjaw right now

that glassjaw album was supr boring to me at first but it grew on me a lot

jd was pretty immediate though that's actually the first -core anything album (other than shitty metalcore like adtr) that i listened to

I've already listened to Glassjaw's discog several times and only enjoyed Coloring Book. 1/3rd of the way through Everything and it's exactly the same as it's always been for me. 3/5

Albums like those really do need some emotion from the person listening

like it doesn't even have to be about relationships even though they're break up albums you just have
to be in some emotional state for them to work how they are supposed

Sometimes shit just doesn't click. I first heard Jane Doe a billion years ago, didn't like it at all, hit the lowest of my lows of depression ever and listened to it again and it still wasn't very good.

Indeed but I still jam them every now and again thinking I might feel differently. It took me about 4 years of listening to Era Vulgaris by QOTSA to go from hating the fuck out of it to loving it
