I heard they rolled dice to determine the time signatures. Not sure if it's true or not, but given the complexity of the album, I wouldn't doubt it

I don't think that's ever been true (I think it was an early interview with Greg in which he described having to adjust to Weinman and Pennie using a different rhythmic language or whatever), but you're right in that it speaks volumes in how believable it is.

What I mean is despite the fact that I know that it's untrue, I still enjoy entertaining the thought of it, if that makes sense.

When I saw them, they didn't play 43% Burnt at all. They barely played anything off of this album, which was saddening, but it was still really fun.

Album came out 17 years ago and still is in regular rotation for a lot of people. That speaks volumes.

Jeez, 17 years. That's how long I've been around. I wish I could come up with a witty joke about that, but alas, nah.

They also played Sugar Coated Sour from this, but I think that's it. You guys weren't kidding about them putting on a good show. Shit was fucking bonkers.

No idea why I never recc'd this here until now but most of you probably are 1) unfamiliar with it and 2) would dig the hell out of it. One of the most similar albums I can think of.
