A Deeper Kind of Slumber is almost as good as this. Clouds is also very good aside from the weak vocals.
their stuff post-Slumber is a major step down, pretty straightforward gothic rock/metal, but if you enjoy that kind of thing you might dig it.

When I thought this album was the goat, I went to a record shop to get ADKoS. But I only remembered the title was something about sleeping, so I got home with The Astral Sleep - which is not very good. Ahh it was innocent days.
When I finally got Deeper Kind I couldn't get into it. This album is a monolith imo.
