My question: My main question is...why did you soften your sound when you released Happy Pills?. When I listened to it, it was a huuuuuge contrast to what you did in Lucy which it was more raw and dark. What was the main motive that made you change your sound?
Kevin's answer: Thanks for the question, ill try and answer it as best i can. Our producer Ron Nevison pushed us into a more commercial direction for Happy Pills feeling that it was a better way for us to recover from the lack of interest that our direction on Lucy played with our Fart Behind audience. In hindsight it helped a bit but certainly not the direction in which we should have gone or wanted to but that happens sometimes with producers that labels pick for you. needless to say we never worked with Ron ever again.
