yeah, psykonaut pretty much got it right. american ghetto was a little more modern-sounding than this one, though. this one is more like 70's psychedelic rock.

This is my favorite Portugal album.
I'd ever had abrasive charm and catchiness shoved into my face like this.
This album is the perfect length and is varied in songwriting, but tied together into one little niche of sound throughout the entire tracklist.
Having said that, I feel like they made a groove in their sound that they haven't successfully branched out of ever since.
