I can say with certainty:
BS > this

haha no shit
|
| |
they have like 4 albums that suck more than this but ya this one is bad

Album Rating: 2.5
'BS > this"
Easily. British Steel is better than 7-8 albums in their discog.
|
| |
I've noticed that all 80's Priest albums I've been revisiting thus far tend to have about 3 stinkers in them. Any thoughts on that?

Vengeance has no stinkers except the bonus tracks
|
| |
^I sadly disagree. "Take These Chains", "Fever" and "Pain and Pleasure" all feel out of place.

wtf pain and fever are sooo good

FROM DESERT PLAINS I BRING YOU LOOOOOOVEEEEEEE!!!!!

I hear a lot of shit talking for this one. But I do and always have enjoyed it. Ever since the first play. Stand-Out tracks include: "Don't Go, Hot Rockin', Turning Circles, You Say Yes and On The Run"
|
| |
^I highly disagree on "You Say Yes", but it's a free
internet. Or so it seems.
However, I think I'll keep this at a 3.5. A great opener,
some good songs, and an okay closer. This is pretty
close with RID for me.
|
| |
I WANNA GO, I WANNA GO, I WANNA GO
HOT ROCKINNNNNN'
|
| |
"Desert Plains" kinda sounds like a song Clapton would've wrote.
|
| |
"Solar Angels" is pretty cool too.
|
| |
After several listens, I've come to the conclusion that I only care for half the songs on the album. The others can suck it.
|
| |
This is borderline between a 3 and a 3.5 for me. I mean, there are good songs on it, but not great
songs. Might lower my rating.
:edit: It's been done.

80s Priest is so hit and miss. You have great albums like BS, SFV and Defenders and then bad ones like
this, Turbo and Ram it Down.

this one sucks
|
| |
@Nero: I can't bring myself to despise Turbo, but agreed somewhat on everything else you say.
