I like you.

Darton Aronofsky's making a movie in 2005. Much love.
Like...making music completely different then the mainstream of the time.

Oh wait.

They did.
Don't be stupid.

Elevator music isn't mainstream, but it's not good either. Quit being indie.

^That could really go either way. I liked Pi quite a bit, but hated Requiem.

Me too, but I respect Requiem for what it was.

Terry Gilliam pitched a script but never went through with it. That sucks major.

I think that Gilliam would have handled it wonderfully.

Ironically, I just rented "Time Bandits" today after seeing "Brazil" last week.

Oh yeah, great review, terrible album, on and on and such.

very good album. i see what you're saying about sonic youth. i already had "confusion is sex/kill yr. idols" by sonic youth, and when i bought velvet underground i instantly seen it as parallel albums.

Quite simply one of the greatest, most important albums ever recorded. I can see why it's not for everyone, but having listened to it again and again...it always seems to me just to be so unbelievably good.

I think Nico really does hurt it, if you listen to it all the way through. The Nico songs, on their own, are very good, I think. Her voice always seems very..baroque. This is the Velvet Underground's 3rd best, in my opinion.

Not immediately gripping. I love John Cale's Paris 1919 and Lou Reed's Tranformer, though, so I'll give this a shot

This album in the morning is my favourite way to get over a rough night.

I remember Sunday Morning playing at about 6:30 in the morning on New Year's Day after a group of friends and I had been up all night, and me thinking that it sounded absolutely perfect. Your comment just made me think of that.

I love some of the tracks on here, but I can't seem to get into all of them. I find it a bit difficult to listen to at time. Sunday Morning is definitely fantastic though.

I can't stand it when people call the instrument on Sunday Morning a Xylophone. It was actually a Celesta.

Amazing.......I can't listen to the Black Angel's Death Song alone though,I get uncomfortable listening to it (also All Tomorrow's Parties).

This band really broke some new ground. They remind me a lot of Farrah Abraham.
