i liked the review. good album, but Suffocation's earlier material is definitely more creative.

no, despise the sun was good. I liked Souls to Deny better. Obviously nothing compares to Effigy of the Forgotten, though. That's why Blood Oath to me seemed like suffocation is dwindling.

Souls To Deny is really underrated on sputnik, imo it's much better than this and suffocation. but imo Despise The Sun is the best thing they've done beside Effigy and Pierced

Yeah I'd rate them from best to worst Effigy, Pierced from within, Souls to Deny, Blood Oath, Despise the SUn, Suffocation.



Seems like Blood oath was just uninspired. It got redundant after 2 or 3 tracks. TOtally opposite of Effigy and Pierced.
