Antartica Inside Me is probably their masterpiece, even though I like several songs of YCBY better...

it took me a while to get used to, but that was mainly because it was unlike anything I'd ever heard before. Still is rather unusual.

I'm trying to find a reason to not bump my rating up to a 5 on this (i'm a bit of a PtW fanboy -- I already have YCBY at a 5) but I just can't. This album's so damn perfect.

Also, Versions has really been growing on me lately. Let's do one of these (everybody else chime in!):

You Come Before You>The Tropic Rot>The Opposite of December>Versions>Tear From the Red

Am I the only one that loved Versions? I agree that it's not as good as a lot of their other stuff but I still thought it was pretty damn good.

I bought this record at a PTW show. First time I'd ever seen them or actually listened. I'd heard the name, didn't know shit about them. The whole album sounded like one long song, and not in a good way. Same chord patterns in every song, similar rhythms, no "real" guitar playing to speak of except on the acoustic track, which I must admit is pretty bitching. I was really disappointed in it, honestly. As much as everybody loves PTW, you'd think they'd be better.

Michael Jackson was a self-confessed PTW fanboy, so I doubt it.

Makes sense. I guess I did snuff him then.
